Border police arrested four suspecting of trafficking

  • Nepali police on Monday afternoon arrested three persons, including two women, along with their passport at a Nepali police station bordering India.

     

    Jamunah border police station and the Service Invigilation Centre at Rupaidiya took them under control.

     

    Among the arrested are Parbati Sunar, 32, of Mehalkuna-5 in Surkhet district, Motisara Bishwakarma, 22, and broker Puran Bishwakarma, 32, both of the same village.

     

    According to reports, broker Puran Bishwakarma was trying to send Parbati Sunar and Motisara Bishwakarma to gulf via India.

     

    Similarly, border police have arrested 28-year-old Sonu Ranamagar of Butwal while he was taking a 17-year-old Kalina Bhandari to India. Police doubted the girl was going to be sold to an Indian brothel.

     

    The girl is reported to have been a class nine student of Rujhena Secondary School in Dang.
