Attack: not tolerable to media

Nepali media has once again stood up with one voice for press freedom. The cycle of suppression, intimidation and attack against press in recent times has ultimately triggered media - style fight back burying all mutual differences of competitive market. It has given continuity to the legendary Nepali struggle for freedom of expression

Political harmony: the public duty for leaders

Top political leaders of Nepal appear to have disregarded their public duty at the moment. The way they express their views in public forums and the manner in which they attack fellow politicians of other parties suggest that their mission is to intensify political instability in the country. It is time they ask themselves whether what they have been doing and saying at present helps or hinders the highly urgent task of consolidating peace process.
